Ashar 15

Ashar 15 is the day when people start to plant wheat. As in nepal, this day is being celebrated as “Rastriya Dhaan Diwas” or “National Rice Plantation Day”. People around the nation started to plant the most consumed food in Nepal aka Rice. Similarly, within many schools, they are teaching their children about the importance of Rice, and teaching how to plant them. They are giving the right education to the children. Rice is consumed by 80% of the population however only 30% is produced within the country. We are slowly relying on imports for rice too which is very bad in the sense that Nepal is an agricultural country and we should be able to produce the rice that we consume in the nation.

Here are the pictures of schools, teaching children about the importance of wheat on the day of Ashar 15.
