Pasdawa Sherpa becomes the fastest-climber to climb 5 highest peaks

Pasdawa Sherpa has now become the fastest-climber to climb the world’s five highest mountains. Sherpa broke Nirmal Purja Magar’s record by climbing the five mountains in 69 days (Nimsdai).

Nepali mountaineer Pasdawa Sherpa created history as he reached the top of K2 on Thursday evening, fixing ropes for others to climb the mountain.

Sherpa also climbed Nanga Parbat on July 1 while guiding record-holder Kristin Harila.Prior to that, he led her to the summits of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri on April 28 and May 8, respectively, completing the summit of eight 8000-meter peaks.

Harila wants to break Nimsdai’s record of six months and six days by climbing all 14 8,000-meter peaks in record time.
