Facebook removed the popular group ‘MRR’.

Facebook removed the popular group ‘MRR’. The Facebook group Men’s Room Reloaded (MRR), which became popular among the young generation, has been removed from Facebook. The parent company of Facebook, Meta, has removed the group for violating ‘Community Guidelines’.

The Election Commission is collaborating with various social media companies to minimize the risks that may arise from social media during the elections. Along with this, Meta is monitoring such pages and groups.

Just a few weeks ago, Meta employees organized an awareness program for the media targeting the election. After this, META has increased monitoring on Facebook posts and comments saying that ‘Community Guidelines’ are being violated and it can affect the election.

Recently, it is assumed that Facebook has removed the group after posts related to ‘No, Not Again’ started appearing in the group. This Facebook group was also prosecuted in 2020.

The MRR group, which had a large congregation of youth, was involved in entertainment and social work. With the elections approaching, there have been postings and interactions on political issues in this group lately. Although it is not clear which post violated the ‘Facebook Guidelines’, it is suspected that the group became inactive due to the post related to ‘No Not Again’.

It is understood that the admins of MRR are trying to bring the group back.
