NTC ( Nepal Telecom) launched its long waited eSIM

An additional piece of telecommunication service news is that NTC ( Nepal Telecom) launched its long waited eSIM service today (Friday, Bhadra 31). They are starting to give out eSim to people with compatible phones at its Sundhara branch today.

Both prepaid and postpaid NTC customers can use the eSIM cards. According to NTC, customers can replace their existing physical SIM cards with eSIM cards for free. Similarly, new postpaid customers will receive an eSIM at the current selling price.
The service will be available to new prepaid customers shortly.

You won’t have to swap SIM cards with eSIM. Furthermore, eSIM can be used on other devices such as smartwatches and wearable devices.

How can you get an Ntc eSIM for your phone?

• Existing NTC customers must fill out a form and send it to the company in order to obtain an eSIM
• Users with supported devices will be able to use the eSIM cards. For current customers, Ntc will give away free eSIM replacements in place of physical SIM cards.
• The company will charge the same amount as it does for regular SIM cards for a new number subscription.

Ntc collaborated with Monty UK Global Limited on the eSIM service. Additionally, the operator inked an MoU with Monty UK’s regional partner, Ultimate Horizon Technologies Pvt. Ltd. The business has given Ntc the infrastructure it needs to launch its digital SIM service.
