Recently, after the release of meta (previously facebook) messenger app end-to-end encryption new feature, many people are having trouble loading messenger on new browser or device. We call it the messenger issue. Facebook gives lots of content, so i only use messenger app but lately i could not load my messenger on my laptop and while searching for the issue, i came to know many people have this issue.
So, here is how to guide to fix this messenger issue.
In basic terms, one must require to re-setup the encryption to fix this new issue.
Here is how you do it.
First go to your settings in messenger app.
Goto privacy and safety settings
Then tap on End-to-end encrypted chats
Goto Message Storage & Turn off secure storage for while
After a while, you can again turn on secure storage. This will ask you the pin you set for encryption previously. Also, you might need to relogin to the messenger and facebook so it ask your pin again. once you provide the pin, it will load the messages properly.
Once it has been done, you will be able to use messenger app or facebook chat smoothly.
