When you have some error on your Facebook post attachment meta information, you do not need to delete the old post and create a new one again. Facebook has this feature to reload or refresh the share attachment. As humans, we apologize for the mistakes we do and try to fix them as we realize them. We had a similar problem to one of our last post.
If you try to notice the title of the post, we had a minor typo with the actual position of Mr. Sujit Shakya in the title of our post. when we corrected the post, the post was already shared by other Facebook users and their shared meta info is not auto-updated on the post.
To do a quick fix for posts like these, users can simply click on the “…” icon on the post, which is also the setting option of the post. Then they can click on the refresh share attachment option. Once the option is selected, the Facebook app will pop up the new meta content for the attachment, you can click on save and the information on the post is updated.
Facebook’s “Refresh share attachment” feature can correct our shared content mistakes in no time. With simple two clicks, the fixes can be made. We do not want people to be misguided at any cost. Facebook has this feature to fix the attachments that we share through our posts. Let’s make use of it.
