If you are scrum master or leading any team, please try to prevent the following habits
1. Scrum Cop
Scrum Master can become a “Scrum Cop”, enforcing strict adherence to Scrum practices. This behavior might inhibit team autonomy and hinder the spirit of Agile collaboration.
2. Blame Game
Scrum Masters should avoid blaming others for the challenges faced in Agile adoption. Instead, they should focus on working collaboratively with the organization and leadership to create a conducive Agile environment.
3. Problem Solving
Scrum Masters should not solve all problems for the team, leading to a lack of self-management and reliance within the team. Scrum Masters should guide problem-solving rather than take over.
4. Running All Meetings
Scrum Masters think of taking charge of all team meetings, which can hinder team ownership and growth. Most of the events can be managed by the team members themselves. Scrum Masters can do an experiment and don’t show up to the daily Scrum meeting and check if and how the team manage to run it.
