Prachi Aggarwal has become the first woman president of Confederation of Nepal Industry Youth Entrepreneurs Forum (CNIYEF). The annual general meeting of the platform constituted a new board for the year 2022/2023 under the chairmanship of Agarwal.
The newly elected chairman Agarwal Kunal is a successful businessman involved in various businesses including furnishing. She holds a Masters in Finance and Marketing from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow and a Masters in Interior Designing from the United Arab Emirates. Earlier, Amun Thapa, the founder and chief executive officer of Cheap Deal, was the chairman of the forum. He has joined the governing council of the platform. Along with Thapa, former presidents Rohit Gupta and Chang Agarwal are also in the governing council.
Anurag Goyal (Learning Chair), Ashish Agarwal (Assistant Learning Chair), Manish Shrestha (Membership and Engagement Chair), Chirag Saravagi (Communication Chair), Ankush Agarwal (Finance Chair) and Sugam Ghimire (Startup Chair) have been elected to the new board of the platform. . Formed in 2017, Manch is the youth organization of Nepal Industry Association.
Its first president was Bishnu Kumar Agarwal. Aggarwal is currently the president of the association. The Youth Entrepreneurs Forum also recently organized the CNIYEF Nepal Startup Fest. At the fest, seven startups signed an initial agreement for a total investment of 245 million rupees.
