LG’s LED TV will now be made in Nepal. The Chaudhary Group’s CG Electronics will manufacture LG brand televisions in Nepal.
In an event today, CG Electronics inaugurated LG’s LED assembly plant in Kathmandu.
Nirwan Chaudhary, Managing Director of Chaudhary Group, has stated that the plant will begin operations with 100 employees.
He also stated that female employees in the plant will be given higher priority than male employees. He claims that the plant will have 70% female employees.
In Nepal, CG Electronics sold LG brand electronic products.LG TV prices are expected to fall now that the televisions will be assembled in Nepal.
