The study shows , the average price of 1 GB of mobile data in Nepal will be around 0.27 USD or 34 NRs. A study conducted in May of this year showed that the cheapest package is 0.07 dollars. Similarly, the most expensive package is 1.95 dollars for 1 GB.
According to Cable, Israel has the cheapest mobile data in the world. Users in Israel can use 1GB of data at a flat rate of US$0.04. Similarly, Italy is in second place. The average price of 1GB of mobile data in Italy is only $0.12. India is ranked fifth on this list. India and Nepal are the only Asian countries that have made it to the top 10 countries with the cheapest mobile data charges.
The average cost of 1GB of mobile data in India, according to the report, is $0.17. Similarly, another neighboring country, China, is on the 22nd position in this list. The average price of 1GB of mobile data in China is $0.41. Likewise, it has been discovered that Nepal’s mobile data charges are somewhat expensive based on the monthly package.
