Starlink Internet available in Antarctica. Elon Musk’s satellite Internet company SpaceX’s Starlink Internet is available on the continent of Antarctica. Elon Musk and the National Science Foundation (NSF) are testing the Internet in the coldest part of the Earth (Antarctica).

McMurdo Station in Antarctica is home to about a thousand people who live and work there. Different companies provided them with satellite internet, but it was inappropriate for them.

Everyone in Antarctica now has 17 Mbps Internet access, according to the US Antarctica Program. However, now that Starlink is available, they will be superior to the previous internet. Previously, OneWeb had expanded satellite internet service to parts of the North Pole and Antarctica

Previously, SpaceX and the NASA Science Foundation tested the Internet at the McMurdo Station’s Starlink terminal in Antarctica.
NFC hopes to increase Internet bandwidth and assist scientists conducting research in remote areas of Antarctica.

Scientists at McMurdo Station will be unable to use Netflix or make video calls. Skype can be used for a variety of meetings in some cases.

Starlink will provide internet speed from 50 to 200 Mbps
