Clean and Green Surkhet campaign is an initiative run by Wings Foundation Nepal ( WIFAN ). This project works for disabilities and cause. The Clean Surkhet & Green Surkhet campaign was launched with the goal of keeping our society clean.
There are many projects and programmes that Clean Surkhet & Green Surkhet Movement are running . As part of the this moment Nawaraj KC has planted around 30, 000 plants within the previous three years. He has made a commitment to plant, cultivate, and protect 1 lakh plants over his lifetime.
The Clean and Green initiative strives to conserve and care for the environment by encouraging people to live environmentally conscious lives. BulBule lake is the main tourist attraction, was full of plastic bottles and weed forest. This movement recently took a initiation to clean BulBule(बुलबुले) lake . This campaign focused to clean and clear BulBule lake. This campaign was completed in 22nd Jestha 2079 in coordination with Surkhet-based active civil society organizations and Nepal Army.
Similarly, 100 Weeks of Clean & Green Surkhet Movement Campaign was a successful program .This campaign started to make Birendranagar a clean, clean and green city.
Likewise, this campaign is organizing many cleanliness campaign to keep the environment clean.This campaign moves with the motive to keep Surkhet CLEAN-GREEN taking the initiation as not anyone’s ‘job’ but everyone’s ‘social duty’.
