Nepal Red Cross Society Parsa will conduct 100% immunization campaign Covid-19. The Nepal Red Cross Society’s Parsa chapter will launch a vaccination campaign in order to obtain 100% vaccination against Covid-19. People in the district’s rural areas have yet to be vaccinated against Covid-19, thus a vaccination campaign is in the works.

Birendraraj Kandel, Chairman of Nepal Red Cross Society, Parsa, stated that a vaccination campaign against Covid-19 will be performed to make vaccine available to all inhabitants. In Parsa, Pakhamainpur Rural Municipality and Bindabasini Rural Municipality remain unvaccinated.

According to Ajay Yadav, program coordinator of Nepal Red Cross Society, Parsa, public awareness work in Pakhamainpur and Bindabasini Rural Municipality of Parsa, as well as school campaigns, is planned. Nepal Red Cross Society Parsa will conduct 100% immunization campaign Covid-19. 

12,891 people aged 5 to 11 years, 464 people aged 12 to 17 years, and 12,351 people over the age of 18 have been vaccinated in Bindabasini Rural Municipality.

However, 3,726 kids aged 5 to 11 years, 2,854 people aged 12 to 17 years, and 6,948 people above the age of 18 have yet to get vaccinated.

Similarly, 13,476 children aged 5 to 11 years, 2,822 children aged 12 to 17 years, and 10,777 adults over the age of 18 have been immunized in Pakahamainpur Rural Municipality. However, 5,778 children aged 5 to 11, 743 between the ages of 12 and 17, and 5,652 beyond the age of 18 have yet to be immunized.

During the survey, the Nepal Red Cross Society, Parsa, discovered that some persons do not even have immunization cards.
