Kathmandu. Yarsa Tech, a Nepali technology company, has unveiled a query device that enables seamless payments through QR codes. Dubbed the ‘Audi Query,’ this device has recently been made available to the general public.
In an interaction with the tech community, Enjay Suvedi, the Managing Director of Yarsa Tech, highlighted that this device not only processes QR code-based payments but also presents the transaction details in the Nepali language.
“We have locally engineered and designed the Audi Query device for Nepal,” Suvedi stated. “Compared to similar devices, this solution is more user-friendly and is poised for distribution through banks and digital wallet companies. These entities can incorporate their own queries and provide customized solutions to their users.”
Enjay Suvedi, the CEO of Yarsa Tech, went on to mention that the Audi Query device is available in two models, priced between NPR 2,200 and NPR 3,600. This device has received the approval of both the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) and the Nepal Telecommunications Authority.
Suvedi elaborated on the device’s capabilities, explaining, “The device is fully customizable, allowing the addition of features as per specific requirements.” The Audi Query device boasts compatibility with GSM, WiFi, and various other connectivity options. The company offers a one-year replacement warranty and up to two years of complimentary maintenance for the device.
Furthermore, Yarsa Tech commits to providing five years of software support for the device. Suvedi shared that financial institutions, upon procurement of the device, can also gain access to a cloud dashboard that integrates the Audi Query device.
Suvedi drew a parallel to internet service providers, stating, “Similar to how users access internet services via routers from companies like Nokia, this concept aligns.” He continued, “Once financial institutions make this device accessible to their customers, they can also manage IP addresses through the same cloud dashboard.”
Equipped with a lithium-ion battery boasting a 2,200 mAh capacity, the device claims to offer over 12 hours of battery backup. For a demonstration of the device’s voice and other features, you can find a sample here.

The company has introduced a range of products including power banks, smart bulbs, and query devices. Notably, the Ludo app has been downloaded over 100 million times.
