Yeti Airlines’ plan 9N-ANC ATR-72 aircraft flew from Kathmandu to Pokhara on Sunday morning. There were a total of 68 passengers and four crew members led by Captain Kamal KC.
While landing at the Pokhara airport, the aircraft crashed on the bank of the Seti River between the old airport and the new airport.
The plant caught fire as it crashed with rescue workers trying to put it off. Yeti Airlines spokesperson said, “16 bodies have been recovered so far.”
Nepal has also had several domestic flights crash in recent years. It is very sad to hear on the occasion of the festival maghe Sankranti.

The government has formed a 5-member accident investigation commission to investigate the accident. This commission can investigate the truth and prevent such incidents from happening again.
