An increase of 2.87 points in NEPSE turnover above one and a half billion. The stock market has seen modest single-digit gains. On Wednesday, the fourth trading day of the week, the market index NEPSE increased by 2.87 points (0.14 percent) and closed at 2057.85 points.
Although there was a general improvement in NEPSE, there was not much excitement in the transaction amount. In the market which was traded above 2 billion on Sunday, there was a turnover of 1.73 billion on Monday and 1.33 billion on Tuesday. But on Wednesday, the transaction amount exceeded one and a half billion, but it was still below the average. On Wednesday, 3678 thousand 705 shares were bought and sold in NEPSE, with a turnover of 1 billion 52 crore 61 lakh 86 thousand. Out of which Arun Kaveli Power has a turnover of 1692 million 66 thousand, while API Power has a turnover of 80 million 825 thousand and Reedy Hydropower has a turnover of 5 million 64 million 68 thousand.
Among those traded on Tuesday, the share price of Mandakini Hydropower increased by 10 percent and the share price of Upper Hewakhola Hydropower Company increased by 9.99 percent and closed at the circuit level. Similarly, the share price of Ruru Water Power Company has increased by 5.86 percent.
On the other hand, the unit price of Siddharth Equity Fund has decreased by 3.58 percent. Similarly, the share price of Gorkhaj Finance will decrease by 2.36 percent and the share price of NLG Insurance will decrease by 2.31 percent.
