Telecom Authority making online ticketing system for hospitals. There is a program for building an online ticketing system for hospitals. For the last few years, different projects have found place in the authority’s budget and program.
The telecom authority has planned to build an online ticketing system for hospitals.According to the authority development of necessary software and technology is required to arrange the provision of tickets through the online means of hospitals.
This program proposed by the Ministry will be implemented through the Technology Research and Development Branch under ICT support. This program does not appear to be held by the Telecom authority itself. This program has been organized by the Ministry with a total budget of 5 million.
It is expected that such systems installed in hospitals will make it easier for patients to obtain services. Previously, the authority invested heavily in programs outside its purview, such as building IT labs in public schools on the ministry’s recommendation. There is also a program of using information technology in secondary level public schools in the current year’s program.
In addition to this, the authority has planned to arrange necessary technology to provide quality telemedicine services to hospitals in remote areas in the current year. A budget of two million rupees has been set aside for this Ministry-recommended program.
