The top six finalists of Wai Wai Glocal Teen Hero Nepal 2022 for the eighth edition have been announced by Glocal.
This year’s competition received 648 applications from fascinating teenagers who have made an impact in their society through education, social activism, entrepreneurship, technology, innovation, and health. Glocal has announced Top six finalists of Wai Wai Glocal Teen Hero Nepal 2022
Aashish Shah (18), Edu-technologist, Dhanusha; Bimarsha Poudel (18), Film Maker, Chitwan; Darshana Rijal (17), Women Rights Activist, Morang; Nischal Singh Bista (18), Ecopreneur, Achham; Rahul Ranjan Shah (18), Astronomy Enthusiast, Dhankuta; and Shrijana Gautam (19), Social Activist, Morang have been selected as the topoutstanding teenagers.
Based on the initiation, sustainability, and impact on work of the top 20 teenagers and their documents reviewed by the jury panel, the top six finalists were chosen for the final round of Glocal Teen Hero Nepal. The respected 5-member jury panel had chosen these 6 incredible teenagers (ages 13-19) for their accomplishments, initiatives, and contributions in their respective fields of work.
The top six finalists will now participate in a series of Self-Competency Workshops on various topics, as well as interact with top corporate personalities and coaches in the industry to broaden their knowledge. On September 1, the finalists will be interviewed individually by a panel of judges. Meanwhile, the SMS voting round began on August 19 at 6:00 p.m. and will end on August 30 at 6:00 p.m. The voting will also help determine the winner of Wai Wai Glocal Teen Hero Nepal in 2022.
The Wai Wai Glocal Teen Hero Nepal 2022 Award Ceremony will be held on September 1, 2022, in the presence of various Nepalese personalities from various sectors such as diplomats, politicians, academia, film stars, entrepreneurs, youth leaders, and other public figures.
