Public broadcaster NRK and other local media reported that the shooting had taken place at the London Pub. And it is a a popular gay bar and nightclub in the center of the city.
Someone killed two people and 14 wounded in a shooting at a nightclub and in nearby streets in Norway police said. A suspect believed to be the sole perpetrator. They arrested police told reporters.
The crime scene extended from the London Pub via a neighboring club. And on wards to a nearby street where they arrested the suspected one few minutes after the shooting began, policemen told.
They took 14 people to hospital with severe injuries, police said.
Helicopters hovered above central Oslo while ambulance and police car sirens were heard across the city.
