UML’s Yogesh Bhattarai elected HoR member from Taplejung. Yogesh Kumar Bhattarai, Secretary of the CPN-UML, was elected to the House of Representatives by a narrow margin from Taplejung.
He defeated Khel Prasad Budhakshetri of the Left Democratic Alliance by 204 votes. The Chief Returning Officer’s office has yet to make an official announcement about the outcome.
