NOC hikes Prices of Petroleum Products

The government has increased prices of petroleum products massively effective from midnight Sunday. Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has increased the price of petrol by Rs 21 and diesel and  kerosene by Rs 27.

The price of petrol  is Rs 199 per liter and the price of diesel and kerosene is Rs 192 per liter with the new price coming into the effect.

Similarly, the aviation fuel has reached up to Rs.182 per liter(domestic) and US dollar(USD) 1,645 per kilo liter (international).

However the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas(LPG) is still the same. The cost of LPG gas cylinder is Rs 1800.

The Russia-Ukrane  war has affected the international fuel market. According to the corporation the prices were adjusted in the line with international market.
